My goal in
creating this website is to map out a plan to live a debt free life. In reaching this lofty goal I have found that I
need to payoff my mortgage. Debt-free means complete freedom!
So many of
us are trapped in a downward spiral of debt. Whether it is credit cards, auto loans or home loans, it all ends up in
the same place - MORE DEBT!
I want to
end this cycle and payoff everything!
We live in
an era that encourages and promotes debt. We are told that it is our patriotic duty to spend money to keep our economy
moving and growing. When purchasing a home or taking out a home equity loan to consolidate other debt or home improvements
that we are helping ourselves by getting a much needed tax deduction from the interest we've paid the finance company that
year.
In reality, American's have very little saved, probably less
than we have in debt. I'm no exception to that rule. Maybe together we can explore possibilities in changing that
perception.
